Sexual enhancement products seized from Brampton, Mississauga stores

Health Canada warns of possible serious health risks

Health Canada has seized multiple unauthorized sexual enhancement products from two convenience stores in Peel, warning that the products may pose serious health risks.

The products were seized and removed from sale May 23 from Vani’s Convenience on Mountainash Road in Brampton and from Westwood Convenience on Goreway Drive in Mississauga.

They included products called Ginseng Red 2000, Premium Pro Power 3500, Triple Green, Max Vigor, Victorious and Rush Hour 72.

In January, similar products were seized by Health Canada from George’s Convenience on Mississauga Road in Brampton.

The possible dangers posed by unauthorized products are outlined on the Health Canada website including:

• they may contain ingredients that are not listed on the label, including prescription drugs in dangerously high doses;

• the label may list a dangerous ingredient or a dangerous combination of ingredients.
