Man in Brampton charged with sexually assaulting a woman after breaking into her home

A man faces charges after allegedly breaking into a home in Brampton and sexually assaulting the woman who lives there, Peel Regional Police said.

Clayton Alexander Williams entered a residence near Massey St. and Mallard Cres., in the area of Bovaird Dr. E. and Bramalea Rd., where he confronted and sexually assaulted the victim, police allege.

Police are also connecting the 39-year-old man from Brampton to another break-and-enter incident near North Park Dr. and Bramalea Rd.

Williams was charged with two counts of breaking and entering, possession of stolen property, sexual assault, sexual interference and breach of the sex offender registry information act.
